Have a Blessed Christmas!

Holiday vacation

If given an opportunity and money, I like to spend a Christmas vacation abroad. It would be a great experience indeed. I had a chance to message my cousin and she told me that she and her family will be spending a grand holiday vacation this week. They will be in Hongkong until after Christmas. I am happy to hear about the news and for sure her family would love it. She told me that they will be visiting the ever favorite Disneyland. Also the specialty shops of popular brands there. Shopping spree, food adventures and more. A grand holiday vacation that would always be wanted all the time.

Bag and pouch gifts

It is almost Christmas and just three more days to go. Some of my colleagues are generous to remember me especially this holiday season. One give me a bag and a pouch colored black as gifts. I can use the bag on my daily activities. It has many uses for me especially that I have lots to carry myself when I go to office everyday.   The pouch can be use as a cosmetic case for my make up and lipsticks. It can be a cellular phone holder as well.  I am very thankful for the generosity of my office mates and for more blessings to come.

Chocolate chip cookies gift

My week had been very busy especially that there are lots of deadlines to attend to. But anyway, I have to thank my friend who gave me a pack of chocolate chip cookies. It is an imported kind of product from the country of Holland. I think this country is famous for its sweet products like chocolates and cookies. Cookies serving are generously top with chocolate bits. Sweeter a bit but every bite of a crunch is so delicious. I can eat one any time of the day. Thanks to the generosity of my friend who gave me this yummy cookies.

Buffet Christmas party

Christmas is always the happiest time of the year. There are many celebrations especially during this season – parties, birthdays, get together, family reunions and more. Christmas parties are always present on most offices and our  office is celebrating it annually. The section where I am connected with was able to have our own exclusive buffet Christmas party in a high end restaurant. It is located in the big mall and we all enjoyed lots of sumptuous foods from local and international cuisines. I am a food adventurer and I tasted lots of European, American, Italian and Japanese foods. I cannot imagine how do all these foods can be tasted by everyone because of many servings. What is important is I am able to eat in such classy restaurant .

Black printer toner

My computer printer is using a canon brand of ink model lbp 2900. I had been using this in the office since March this year and so far I like the performance as far as printing is concerned. The other day I ran out of ink. The two months of usage is used up and the printer no longer prints the full page.  The in charge of supplies immediately requested one for my computer  and good thing because the toner is readily available.  So far the performance is very good. Now I can print many reports for hard copies any time during working hours.

affordable l3c keyboard stand at Musicians Friend

Our church is very busy this Christmas season. We have lots of programs coming up. Now is the time to give back the blessings and help those people in our locality who are more in need especially of material and monetary also in the aspect of spiritual. I am very active in our church as part of my commitment. The organizers requested me to look for an affordable l3c keyboard stand at Musicians Friend. I finally find one that is of good quality and kind online. This site was introduced to me also by my friend. Now we can perform songs better using the latest instruments. I also hope that this season will be merrier as always.

Preparation for training and seminar

Its a busy week for me. I have so many deadlines especially that this is now the last month for the year twenty thirteen. year end is often hectic in the office- meeting deadlines, reports, memorandum and more.  there will be a scheduled training and seminar for the basic management course. This will be attended by those employees who belong or handles the managerial position. Division heads, chiefs and officers are required to attend the said course. Hand outs, papers, supplies and other important things should be prepared ahead of time so that there will be no cramming next week.

Job interview schedule

My cousin called me up the other day because he is schedule for an interview here in the city. he and his wife will be traveling early morning to be able to catch up with the schedule. The job vacancy is for engineers who would be qualified to handle the plant that would be a contractor for an energy project. His past experiences with regards to engineering jobs in Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi and Thailand were an edge as far as engineering is concerned. Salary offer is a consideration here because of my cousin’s know how as well as his skills. No assurance yet but hopefully the interview would be a good deal if ever.

Gospel for today

Gospel: Mt 3:1–12 – In the course of time John the Baptist appeared in the desert of Judea and began to proclaim his message, “Change your ways, the Kingdom of heaven is now at hand!” It was about him that the prophet Isaiah had spoken when he said, A voice is shouting in the desert: prepare a way for the Lord; make his paths straight. John had a leather garment around his waist and wore a cloak of camel’s hair; his food was locusts and wild honey. People came to him from Jerusalem, from all Judea and from the whole Jordan valley, and they were baptized by him in the Jordan as they confessed their sins.

When he saw several Pharisees and Sadducees coming to where he baptized, he said to them, “Brood of vipers! Who told you that you could escape the punishment that is to come? Let it be seen that you are serious in your conversion, and do not think: We have Abraham for our father. I tell you that God can raise children for Abraham from these stones! The axe is already laid to the roots of the trees; any tree that does not produce good fruit will be cut down and thrown in the fire. I baptize you in water for a change of heart, but the one who is coming after me is more powerful than me; indeed I am not worthy to carry his sandals. He will baptize you in the Holy Spirit and fire. He has the winnowing fan in his hand and he will clear out his threshing floor. He will gather his wheat into the barn, but the chaff he will burn in everlasting fire.”  The gospel for today talks about preparation for the coming of the Messiah.  This is about personal renewal and getting oneself ready and welcoming for the Son.
