It is better to do most of my computer jobs in the office with the use of a new laser jet printer. The color of the printer is gray. I did the manual installation in the computer. At first it did not function as I carefully followed the manual instructions on how to attached the cable wires from the central processing unit, computer monitor and printer. It did not made a test print while I tried and tried because there seems to be problems with the connection from the printer going to the computer’s driver. I requested the help of a personnel from the data center and finally my printer is successfully installed. Now I can freely print any document or other reports using the new laser printer.
It is Monday once again. The first day of the week which is so challenging for me. Actually I do not like Monday. It seems that everybody is so in a rush at the start of this day. I wake up early for work but seems my day is being challenge today. I am stack up in a traffic in four areas going to the downtown district. I leave home around six thirty in the morning but I arrive already past eight. The traffic is terrible. It is frustrating especially when the first day of the week is being meet by this social problem. I hope the remaining days will be productive and fruitful.
It is Sunday and I have all my time here at home doing some never ending household chores. We remember the birthday of our aunt who is the sister of my mother. She is already eighty two years old today and we are very thankful for this another year of life that you have given to her at this prime of her age. I cook some stir fried noodles and kinilaw, a fresh tuna fish in some selected spices with some cucumber slices with sour and spicy taste. These foods combined are perfect compliment when shared for lunch. A hearty lunch with my siblings as we celebrate the birthday of our aunt. I always love celebrations like this and hoping for birthdays to come for my aunt. Blessings be to you.
Lk 9:18–24One day when Jesus was praying alone, not far from his disciples, he asked them, “What do people say about me?” And they answered, “Some say that you are John the Baptist; others say that you are Elijah, and still others that you are one of the former prophets risen from the dead.” Again Jesus asked them, “Who then do you say I am?” Peter answered, “The Messiah of God.” Then Jesus spoke to them, giving them strict orders not to tell this to anyone. And he added, “The Son of Man must suffer many things. He will be rejected by the elders and chief priests and teachers of the Law, and put to death. Then after three days he will be raised to life.”
Jesus also said to all the people, “If you wish to be a follower of mine, deny yourself and take up your cross each day, and follow me. For if you choose to save your life, you will lose it, and if you lose your life for my sake, you will save it.Let us pray for the outpouring of the Holy Spirit so that we come to look at Jesus, recognize him as our Lord, and repent for our hurtful ways of being. The gospel today is all about Jesus as a God not just as a Savior. Giving oneself unselfishly for god’s glory.
I am busy for this week because of the renewal of the contracts of all job order employees not only in the region but in all districts as well. Each employee is required to submit six sets of completely computerized contracts where their names are indicated including the sign in the presence of persons. I have to manually check each paper submitted to make sure that all the necessary requirements and guidelines complied. Quite tedious actually but I need to check the validity of the documents. Many are required to process contracts so I am expecting bulk transactions in the next coming days.
The son of my friend is presently enrolled in an exclusive private school. He is a freshman in high school and being a newly enrolled student he is a little bit adjusting to the new environment of the school, teachers, classmates and school mates. His son has a unique talent in playing drums. The school got him in the band as he passed the auditions the other week. It is good to know that the school provides drumset at musicians friend. The new sets will be used when the group will do the practice every other week. My friend is happy of his son actually and nothing to compare as a proud parent to her son. I hope to see one of their performances soon.
I bought this personal kit for oral hygiene as it is very much needed by me especially when I stay away from home like seminars, work shops, travel etc. The kit is quite pricey compared to ordinary set but the toothbrush and the toothpaste are of quality kind. The toothbrush has soft bristles that wont hurt or bleed gums. The toothpaste is very good especially for sensitive teeth like me. It also helps control bad breath especially during mornings. Now I found my travel partner that would surely protect me wherever I go.
My cousin is working as a site engineer in a big manufacturing industry abroad. He is happy with his present job especially on his new promotion just this month. His job descriptions include planning, organizing and managing of workforce and equipment on site. Tough job actually because he is handling a big responsibility with the people. He told me the other day that their company procured some materials for the site and one is the spill pallet. They need such containers for for oil and fuels on site. The sizes are bigger to accommodate bulk storage. I am happy for my cousin and I hope that one day I can visit his company site when I can travel overseas.
A special day tribute to all the fathers in the world. Most of all to my father whom we all love. My father is one super father for us. He has been into lots of hardships to be able to provide for the family. I was listening to the preaching the other day and the priest talked about what it means to be a father- F stands for faithful, A stands for availability, T stands for trustworthy, E stands for ( I forgot) and R stands for responsibility. To be a father is not an easy job. One has to function his job description not just for the meantime but for a lifetime. A special tribute to celebrate father’s day.
I have a digital thermometer at home that I always use every time there is an increase in temperature or anyone has a fever. This thermometer is one important medical gadget to have always at home. The color is white and has a built in battery smaller than that of a button. It is not a typical thermometer before that has mercury that you have to shake, shake it before using. It is able to measure degrees of hotness of an individual. There are many different kinds and types of thermometer available on the market. Some for industrial and others for medical purposes. One great invention that is beneficial until this present time.
