Mt. Apo at a glance

A late afternoon shot of the Mt.Apo, the tallest peak in the Philippines. I had been waiting to capture this majestic view of the mountain. When I visited last week the crocodile park open field, that was then I had a chance to shot this sky scene and worth sharing for today’s Friday. Happy Skywatching to all!

Crocodile Park Adventure

My weekend was great because I got a chance to visit the famous Davao Crocodile Park with my brother Raymund. We enjoyed seeing crocodiles, snakes and some endangered species that are taken cared of for preservation purposes. Here are some of the photo moments to share .

Dare to ride on crocs’ back..:D:D

Glimpse of South Korea

Scenic Sunday

I would like to share for scenic Sunday some shots taken by my brother during his stay in South Korea. A skyscraper overlooking the Han River beautifully photographed while riding a subway train going to Seoul’s central district. These captured shots were worth remembering because of great experiences while living and working in the country.

Mother’s Special Day

Hundreds of dewdrops to greet the dawn,
Hundreds of bees in the purple clover,
Hundreds of butterflies on the lawn,
But only one Mother the wide world over.

Most of all the other beautiful things in life come by twos and threes, by dozens and hundreds. Plenty of roses, stars, sunsets, rainbows, brothers and sisters, aunts and cousins, comrades and friends – but only one Mother in the whole world.

Nanay, you painted my world with rich colors of love, caring, happiness and much more about life. I am a person that I become now because of You. Your memories will always remain forever….

Happy Mothers Day!

Burden of Rate Increase

I just received this week my billing for the month of April on the light bill of the Davao Light & Co. It was a surprise to see the monthly due that almost doubled compared with my previous monthly billings. There is a note in the bill that states that the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) granted to the National Power Corporation a provisional increase on the per kilowatt hour of usage. The increase took effect on last month’s billing and is due this month. Conservation of energy is always a practice at home but in spite of being cautious and frugal on the expenses i am still one of the consumers who carries the burden of payment to make up the loss of the energy providers. This rate increase is another difficult concern to consumers who use electricity as a basic necessity of living.

Labor Day
